Mrs. Meyer's Home Maker
We love fresh flowers, but their short life spans often make them hard to use in decorating. Felt flowers are a great way to keep the colors of spring on your doorstep and in your home all season long!

Materials & Tools
- 13 inch Wicker wreath
- Felt (25-30 sheets)
- Floral wire
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions

Cut flower petals in various shapes and sizes and one small circle for the center of your flower. Make a small slit into the center of the circle and weave the floral wire through it leaving 5 inches from the bottom. Hot glue it into place. Now you have a bud to attach to your petals.

Starting with the smaller sized petals, affix to center of flower one at a time with a small dab of glue. Then cut a four-tipped leaf out of green felt and glue it to the bottom of the bud.

Repeat this process with different types of blooms until you have 30-50 flowers. And don't forget to add some greenery.

Arrange flowers on wreath in desired pattern. Then wrap the floral wires around the wicker and secure it with hot glue. When finished, cut a 1.5" X 10" strip of felt, fold it in half and glue to the back of the wreath. Now you have a hook to hang it on the door.
